The stated weight (kg / m3) is measured with a moisture percentage of approx.12%. Its hardwood tends to start orangish-brown, but with age it becomes darker reddish-brown. Even between boards some color differences could occur. Also small yellow mineral deposits, which in contact with moisture become red spots (referred to bleeding in contact with moisture).
Morover, it has a medium heaviness and durability. Aftrer drying, its movement in service (shrinkage and despansion) is minimal. Is is very suitable for outdoor applications, like doors and floors
