European Beech is easy to work with and hardly ever splits. The wood has a regular structure and is non-toxic. Natural discoloration can occur in unsteamed Beech, which means the wood can lose its white color. Mainly therefore it is often steamed. By steaming it acquires an solid pale pink color and its natural movement in service (shrinkage and expansion) will be reduced. Of course, it does not mean there is no movement in service at all!

Pay attention! Wood panels are very sensitive to fluctations in atmospheric humidity. In order to guarantee quality, an order for panels won't be prepared in advance but only at the time of departure. In this way, the chance of warping is limited.
