Description:
The heartwood of cambara is a light reddish brown,
distinct from the light grey to light greying brown sapwood. It has
distinct growth rings and the grain is straight to interlocked with a
medium texture, lacking in lustre and no distinctive odour.
Working Properties:
Cambara is easy to plane, saw and sand but it does
not finish easy. It kiln-dries rapidly with a tendency for moderate
cupping.

Non durable and easy to treat with preservatives.

Civil and naval constructions, boats, furniture, framing,
paneling, boxes and crates, furniture components and others.
